INGREDIENTS:

  • Soft corn niblets : 100 gm
  • Roasted chana dal : 50 gm
  • Hung curd : 50 gm
  • Ginger : 5 gm
  • Green chillies : 5 gm
  • Cumin : 5 gm
  • Mawa : 5 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Pure ghee desi for tempering
  • Oil for frying

METHOD:

  • Boil corn with salt, and then coarsely grind
  • Deseed green chilies and chop finely
  • Wash and clean ginger and chop finely
  • Grind roasted chana dal
  •  Mix all the above ingredients along with hung curd.
  • Give a tempering of cumin seeds in pure ghee.
  •  Mix thoroughly to form dough.
  • Divide dough into tikki portions and make a patty of each portion.
  • Deep fry in oil.
  • Serve hot along with mint chutney
